Meet Cody, our Wholesale and Retail Manager.
Hello, everyone!
I am thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself as the Wholesale and Retail Manager for M.M Linen. My name is Cody, and I have been with the company coming on 3 years. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales and Communication in Otago and I am delighted to put my skills to good use amongst our carbon neutral business renowned for striking botanical/floral designs along with our other outstanding home and living categories. I am also proud to be part of a company with exceptional customer service standards upheld by our wonderful head office and retail teams.
As a business, M.M Linen are, first and foremost, wholesalers, so my role as the wholesale and retail manager is heavily focused towards all my wonderful customers and clients throughout New Zealand. We have seen fantastic growth in our stockist’s, to now work with over 100 retailers throughout the country. M.M Linen has been a pioneer in the industry, and I feel privileged to be entrusted with the responsibility of managing both the wholesale and retail aspects of the business.
One of my favourite aspects of this busy role is working alongside Kerry, our Founder and Creative Director and the creative M.M Linen team. We are always striving to introduce new designs, sustainable practices, and innovative materials to enhance our product and packaging offerings. We work in advance to cater for our M.M Linen offering to the International Market. It is exceptionally exciting when I get to venture throughout New Zealand. I travel for about 6 weeks out of every six months - either on a Monday - Friday or a Tuesday - Friday basis, when I present our new Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter collections with my customers. I have grown to create fantastic connections with my customers, who making travelling around New Zealand a marvellous experience.
As mentioned, coming into my third year in the industry I have had the opportunity to witness the ever-evolving trends and preferences of our valued customers. This experience has given me valuable insights into what makes an outstanding product and how we can continually improve it to exceed our customer expectations.
On the retail front, my focus is on creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. I believe that each customer interaction is the make or break in building a lasting connection creating repeat customers, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every individual who shops with us feels valued and satisfied. I am very proud of my M.M Linen retail managers and their staff in our Auckland, Christchurch and Tauranga locations.
In my role, I strive to foster strong professional relationships with our wholesale partners, my retail and head office teams ensuring that they are provided the utmost support and cooperation. Feedback from my wholesale customers is huge for me as they are the ones hearing feedback directly from the customer. Working with them allows us to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions that help them succeed in their own offerings.
