After a long search for the perfect Remuera location, we were thrilled with our new M.M Linen 4th store location. 399 Remuera Road is situated in the 1050 Precinct, just along from the iconic Browns café and surrounded by a beautiful and unique array of fashion & homewares stores and restaurants at the rear. Celebrating its original village setting, 1050 Precinct combines an elegant arcade, laneways, storefronts, and pavilions. Within the Remuera village it is easily accessible, and there’s plenty of free parking in the public New World car park next door.
Our first M.M Linen store in Auckland opened 5 years ago in Westfield Newmarket, and we have now closed this to position our brand in 2 destination locations. Having opened our 98 Richmond Road, Ponsonby Store 6 months ago, this is now our 2nd Auckland location to expand our brand. The M.M Linen Remuera Road space has been created using beautiful natural oak fixtures & wood flooring, with feature white paneling & a curved white tiled counter, the materials offset the array of colour and texture of our seasonal collections.
Whilst I have lived in Christchurch for the past 30 years, I was bought up North of Auckland on a farm and went to boarding school at Diocesan School for Girls in Epsom, so It is a bit of a step back into my past having spent lots of time in the area with school friends. I started my working life in Auckland for 10 years regularly visiting friends and family there, and have always loved the shopping in Remuera and the mix of brands on offer. Whilst bringing the new store space to life, we have all enjoyed the fantastic dining spots in the precinct as well, and excited for further visits which is likely to involve a bit of spending!
We feel privileged to be amongst other boutique New Zealand retailers and look forward to visits from the community. Our store manager Christine has a great team of staff who are passionate about our brand and giving homewares and colour advice to our new and existing customers.
